Princess Roxie & Sir Winston

Princess Roxannne and Sir Winston of Bookcase are our two Shelties.

They arrived at our castle via Minnesota Sheltie Rescue, which is an organization we very much believe in. We used to do much volunteer work with them in the past, but just haven't had time to lately. The Duchess had total knee replacements done on both her knees over the past two summers. The surgery is a bummer, and the rehabilitation takes a L-O-N-G time. Your life revolves around your leg for pretty much nine months or so.

But Gorgeous George and I continue to support what they do by adopting from them whenever we have an opening. We concentrate on the Senior Shelties, as they are the most difficult to place. It is a shame. Yes, you will need to say, "Farewell" to them sooner than a dog you would get as a puppy, but they will most likely be potty trained, socialized, and will be so grateful for whatever you give them. And will show that gratitude a hundred-fold to you.

We learn so much more from each Sheltie who has come to us, than we have ever taught them. And these two are no exception! Which you will see over the coming months.....they have very much their own personalities!
